Responsibilities

• Support personal hygiene tasks such as baths, showers, and bedpan care.
• Provide adjunct care, including cold packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and document information in patient charts.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed to ensure smooth care.
• Work as part of a team and manage tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain composure and handle pressure with a calm approach.

• Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning, and ambulating patients, and providing fresh water and extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers
• Provide adjunct care, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in patient charts
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Work effectively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Demonstrate a high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course
