Job summary

Eagle Lake is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living, monitor health, and provide comfort in a long-term care setting.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved CNA course, and strong communication skills. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are available.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment with Nurses and other staff, delivering quality care under pressure.

• Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning, and ambulating patients, and providing fresh water and extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers
• Provide adjunct care, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in patient charts
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Work effectively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Demonstrate a high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy
