This role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing tailored care to diverse age groups and needs. Per Diem, As Needed, Non-Benefit Eligible
Under the supervision of the assigned Registered Nurse, performs various direct patient care activities to support the personal needs and comfort of patients. Provides care tailored to different age groups from infants to the elderly, and accommodates specific needs related to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and potential victims of abuse. Incorporates knowledge of patient rights, exceptional care, and the hospital's values and mission into job duties. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a nursing assistant or current enrollment in a nursing program with coursework completed in "Fundamentals of Nursing I & II".
Valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing school with completed coursework in "Fundamentals of Nursing I & II".
Computer experience preferred. CPR certification required.
