Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Float pool in Winchester, VA. This full-time role covers night shifts and reports to the Nursing Float department. The CNA will perform routine personal care tasks for patients under supervision and help maintain safety and quality of care across units.

The position requires Virginia or West Virginia CNA registry listing, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. New CNAs may serve as preceptors after orientation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registered Nurse Aide (CNA) required listed on VA/WV nurse aide registry.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association) required prior to orientation.
• Flu vaccination is required for Long-Term Care clinical areas.

Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems. Supports the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. Once experienced, may act as a preceptor in the orientation of new CNA's. **Education** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. **Certification & Licensures** Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.Must be listed on the relevant Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia and/or West Virginia based on work location(s) within Valley Health.BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required.
