The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering quality care to patients within the Excel Program.

This is a part-time (0.75 FTE) night shift position working from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am at our Excel Care Suites in Eagan and Edina.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, aiming to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions

• Assist with physician-ordered treatments under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living
• Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient conditions
• Report changes in physical, mental, or emotional states to nursing staff
• Assist RN with diagnostic tests
• Collect and deliver specimens to the laboratory
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply inventory in patient rooms
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
• Prepare rooms for discharges and admissions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• CNA certification
• 3-5 years of surgical floor nursing assistance experience
• Current CPR certification
