Job summary

Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services is hiring CNAs for full-time and pool/per diem/casual roles at a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility. CNAs work 12-hour shifts, 3 per pay week, with every other weekend and holiday; 8-hour shifts are also available (5 per week).

Starting pay for first-year CNAs is $19.50 per hour, with increases to $22. Hazard pay of $3.40 per hour when funded and a weekend premium of $2 on Sat/Sun are offered.

Qualifications

• CNA role providing basic nursing care and assistance to residents.
• Experience with patient care tasks such as bathing, feeding, toileting.
• Ability to report changes in patient condition to the charge nurse.

Job description

We are a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility. We are known for the excellent care that we provide to our residents/patients and the community.

Full time and pool/per diem/casual positions available. Our CNA's work 12 hour shifts, 3 shifts per pay week, every other weekend (Sat-Sun) and every other holiday. We also have 8 hour shifts, 5 shifts per pay week. Shift hours are 5a-5p, 5p-5a and 5p to 1a. First-year CNA starting pay is $19.50. We honor years of experience in our pay range up to $22 per hour. We are currently paying additional Hazard pay for direct Health Care Workers at $3.40 per hour while funding is available and a weekend premium of $2 more per hour for Sat/Sun shifts.

What is a CNA? The CNA gives basic nursing care and assistance in meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents and patients under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. This entry level position assists with tasks of daily living such as bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, transferring, positioning, checking weights and vitals and reports changes in condition to the charge nurse. We have our own Dietary and Housekeeping/Laundry Departments.
