Job summary

ArchCare cares for people of all ages and faiths where they are most comfortable and best able to receive it — at home, in the community and in nursing homes. ArchCare, a Continuing Care Community of the Archdiocese of New York, seeks a compassionate CNA to join a full-time daytime team serving residents in New York.

You will assist elders with daily living activities, help with meals, and ensure comfort and safety while reporting changes accurately and following state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current NY State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with elderly residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
