Job summary

Sodus-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Center in New York is hiring Nursing Assistants to provide resident care on day, evening, and night shifts. The starting pay is $19.25 to $20.25 per hour, with $21.00 for evenings and $21.25 for nights, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS CNA certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle resident care with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ambulation and transfers between bed, chair, and stretcher.
• Assist or feed residents and provide hydration and nourishment.
• Offer and remove bedpans and/or urinals as needed.
• Maintain resident cleanliness, change linens, and assist with baths.
• Observe health status and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
