Job summary

Sodus-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Center seeks a Nurse’s Aide to provide compassionate patient care across day, evening, and night shifts at one location.

Responsibilities include ambulation assistance, feeding, hygiene, bed/bath care, and reporting changes to the charge nurse. NYS certification, high school diploma, and 1 year of experience are required; capacity to work with residents and families is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR Equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience.
• NYS Certification as Nurse’s Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ambulation and transfers from bed, chair, or stretcher.
• Aids with feeding and hydration as indicated.
• Maintains resident cleanliness and hygiene; changes linens.
• Supports infection control and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Participates in in-service training and adheres to policies.
