Qualifications

• Must obtain a Certificated Nursing Assistant certification from the Idaho Board of Nursing within 3 months of hiring.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents following each individual's care plan.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic medical tasks as assigned.
• Takes and records vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output.
• Relates appropriately to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Works weekends and holidays, and may be called in to replace absent staff.
