Job summary

Glendale Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulations. You will be courteous, respectful, and maintain a calm demeanor while communicating clearly with residents, families, staff and government personnel.

The role requires basic CNA training, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid CNA certificate. English proficiency and ability to enter resident data on a tablet are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.
• Completion CNA training from accredited school; valid CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Ensure privacy during nursing care.
• Make residents comfortable (bed, water, etc.).
• Assist in feeding residents; assist with grooming and hygiene.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and positioning.
• Transport residents to dining/activities and back to room.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
