Priority Management is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a dedicated care team in Ruston, LA. The role requires compassionate patient care, dignity, and adherence to safety protocols in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents’ wellbeing, support meal service, and document care actions. The position is on-site, with full-time hours and benefits. Training and teamwork are emphasized for high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must have valid certification in good standing.
• High School diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents’ personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaving; assists with bathroom trips and showers.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as meals, feeding residents, ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Helps with lifting and moving residents using proper safety techniques.
• Assists with meal service, serving, clearing, and documenting snacks and hydration.
• Documents actions and reports care, observations, and changes to nursing staff.
• Maintains resident safety by monitoring condition and reporting concerns.
• Supports infection control by following facility procedures and handling linens properly.
• Keeps residents comfortable, responds promptly to call lights, and assists with routine tasks.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident units, treatment areas, and supply rooms.
