Job summary

Westminster Services in Florida is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring and mobility. You'll help maintain clean, safe rooms, ensure meals are served on time and report any changes in residents' condition.

Adherence to infection control, accurate documentation, and regular rounds to prevent skin breakdown are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida.
• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years experience or Bachelor's with 1+ years.
• One year of long term care experience or with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Ensure beds are made and hygiene is maintained in rooms.
• Assist with meals and feeding when necessary.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Practice infection prevention and control measures per rules.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly and accurately.
• Make routine rounds to ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place.
• Prevent skin breakdown by timely repositioning.
