Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Lumberton, NC. This role emphasizes 1:1 CNA-to-patient care with a strong focus on work-life balance.

Immediate need for Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, plus 8–10pm on Mon/Wed/Fri shifts, with the option to shape your own schedule and enjoy weekly pay. You will care for seniors in their homes, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and work with a team to follow each patient’s care plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active North Carolina Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes is required.
• Compassionate, good communicator with physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors in patients' homes per care plan.
• Assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, nutrition).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, document intake/output and monitor changes.
• Collaborate with nurses and aides to follow the care plan and report issues.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followedObserve patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

A few must-haves for Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in North Carolina
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
