Job summary

Cascades at Orchard Park in Orem, UT seeks a Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care on weekends. You will respond to call lights, assist with mobility and activities of daily living, monitor diets, and document intake while maintaining dignity and safety.

On-the-job training is provided. This role features a flexible, on-call weekend schedule designed to fit your life while delivering essential care to residents in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Dependability and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Provide physical support for daily living activities (bed transfers, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure proper diets.
• Record food and fluid intake/output.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Build relationships to ensure patient comfort and dignity.

Looking for flexibility? Our Weekend CNA positions allow you to stay active while picking up shifts when it fits your schedule.

What We Offer:

• Competitive Pay

• Flexible, On-Call Schedule: Day shifts (6 AM - 6 PM), as coverage is needed

What You'll Do:

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs

• Turn and reposition residents while in bed

• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, or exercising

• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure proper diets are followed

• Record food and fluid intake/output as necessary

• Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff

• Build relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable and dignified

Training & Support:

On-the-job training is provided, tailored to your individual experience and comfort level.
