CNA Shift: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm / 12 hours per week / Saturday/Sunday / Shift Differential

The Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting with unit and patient care needs under the supervision of a registered nurse. They have full access to patient health information and may access medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as part of their duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good standing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
• Certification in BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Ability to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods; ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
