Job summary

The Inn at University Village, part of Koelsch Communities, seeks a skilled CNA/HCA for the Resident Services Department. This part-time role offers Day and NOC shifts (3AM–11AM) with pay between $21 and $23 per hour, depending on experience.

New CNA grads are welcome to apply. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and HSA contributions, paid vacation, holidays, and a path for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Current CNA in Washington state is required.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training to earn the same rate as a CNA.
• Must be able to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe changes in condition and report to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) in Washington State.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
