Job summary

Lakefront Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chicago's Rogers Park area is seeking a CNA Supervisor to lead the clinical CNA team and uphold a high standard of resident care. Candidates must hold an unencumbered Illinois CNA certificate and CPR certification, with about one year of CNA experience preferred.

You will supervise CNAs, provide ongoing training, and ensure safety and quality in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Illinois CNA certificate and CPR certification required.
• One year CNA experience preferable but not mandatory.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care in a community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision of CNAs and conduct performance evaluations.
• Deliver ongoing education to CNAs as needed.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and monitor condition changes.
• Ensure a safe environment and maintain high standard of care.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to support rehabilitation and mental health goals.

As a C.N.A. Supervisor you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Lakefront Nursing and Rehabilitation Center by providing general supervision of C.N.A.’s, conducting performance evaluations, providing education to C.N.A.’s as needed, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois C.N.A. certificate and C.P.R. Certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
