Job summary

Allure of Sterling in Sterling, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care in a supportive team. Night shifts run 6:00 pm–6:00 am, with opportunities for part-time and full-time schedules, and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

You will work within a skilled nursing and healthcare center, delivering high-quality care while ensuring resident comfort, safety, and dignity in a HIPAA-compliant setting.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing, speaking required.
• Current CNA certification in Illinois.
• CPR certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, grooming, toileting, showers).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning and positioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly.
• Observe changes and report to nursing supervisor.
• Document care using required forms and records.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow facility policies and regulations.

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting their health, safety, comfort, and dignity.

Position Summary:

As a CNA, you'll assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and respond to their needs in a supportive and caring environment. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional care that meets the unique needs of each resident.

Shifts available:

• Nights: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment between meals
• Provide personal hygiene care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, showers, and incontinence care
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output as assigned
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing supervisor
• Document care accurately using required forms, reports, and records
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Follow professional standards, facility policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

• Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois
• Current CPR Certification required
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
