Job summary

Allure of Sterling in Sterling, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and healthcare center. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and support an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care.

Shifts include Nights: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. Compensation is $20.00 per hour with part-time and full-time opportunities. Walk-ins/interviews are scheduled on Wednesday 10/7/2026 from 10:30am-3pm at the facility.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois CNA certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment between meals.
• Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, grooming, toileting, showers, and incontinence care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nursing supervisor.
• Document care using required forms and records.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy.

Position Summary:

As a CNA, you'll assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and respond to their needs in a supportive and caring environment. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional care that meets the unique needs of each resident.

Shifts available:

• Nights: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Follow professional standards, facility policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

• Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois
• Current CPR Certification required
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
