Job summary

Koelsch Communities in Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled CNA to join our Resident Services Department. We offer full-time and part-time roles with shifts from 6:30AM–2:45PM, 2:30PM–10:45PM, and 10:30PM–6:45AM, including weekends.

New CNA grads are welcome to apply and compensation ranges from $20 to $21 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life and more, plus employer HSA contributions, paid time off, and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) in Colorado.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
