Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Hart County Rehab & Wellness Center in Kentucky is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for PART TIME DAYS. 24 hrs per week across 3 shifts, 8 hours each.

You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment in our 104-bed facility. Join our team to support ADLs, comfort, and quality of life while benefiting from our extensive Signature Perks package and all-hospital resources.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification in the state of operation.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with composure under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable to change and independent when needed.
• Ability to cooperate with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living as per care plan.
• Change bed linen and maintain room cleanliness.
• Ambulate/transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, intake/output and weights as assigned.
• Turn and position residents regularly.
• Uphold resident rights and comfortable care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
