Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and support a compassionate environment in our Winchester facility. You will assist with ADLs, transfer residents, monitor vitals, and uphold resident rights under licensed supervision.

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Function independently with personal integrity when coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food intake.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Recognize and support resident rights within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.

$2500 Sign on bonus, paid out over every pay check for the first year of employment! That is an extra $1.33 per hour!!!
