PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide supervised patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The CNA performs routine tasks, supports the nursing team, and helps ensure comfortable, safe experiences for patients.

Education: high school diploma preferred; CNA certification as required by state; current BLS certification is required. Experience: not required, with 2–3 years in acute hospital or rehab settings preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification required where state requires.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Two to three years of hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required).

Mansioni

• Performs patient care activities under supervision of RN or LPN.
• Does not administer medications or therapies.
• Adheres to PAM Health policies and procedures.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.


• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
