Casa de las Campanas, part of Life Care Services, in Rancho Bernardo, CA, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for PM shifts to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care and maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role emphasizes daily living activities, rapid communication with licensed nurses, and collaboration with care teams. Requires CA CNA certification and CPR; two years of CNA experience and LTC background preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years CNA experience preferred.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Report changes and any unusual occurrences regarding residents to Licensed Nurse.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Attend care planning conferences on assigned residents as requested.
• Help transport residents to and from activities and programs.
• Document data timely using appropriate forms.
• Respond to residents' call lights promptly.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and emergencies and initiate appropriate action.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant shall provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for all residents, with emphasis on activities of daily living and restoration of a higher level of function.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assists residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities
• Promptly reports changes and any unusual occurrences regarding residents to Licensed Nurse

• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities and programs.
• Accurately documents required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
• Responds to each resident’s call light promptly.
• Follows established performance standards and performs duties according to facility policies and procedures.
• Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates appropriate action immediately
