Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo, near San Diego, is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will deliver direct resident care under supervision, support daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Ideal candidates hold California CNA certification, CPR, and have 2+ years of CNA experience, with long-term care experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a positive, engaging work culture.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience preferable.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
• Reports changes and any unusual occurrences to Licensed Nurse promptly.
• Participates in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Documents required data accurately and timely in appropriate forms.
• Responds promptly to resident call lights and adheres to safety policies.

Salary: $24.50 - $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant shall provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for all residents, with emphasis on activities of daily living and restoration of a higher level of function.

Essential Job Duties

• Assists residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities
• Promptly reports changes and any unusual occurrences regarding residents to Licensed Nurse
• Participates in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
• Participates in care planning conferences on assigned residents as requested
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities and programs.
• Accurately documents required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
• Responds to each resident’s call light promptly.
• Follows established performance standards and performs duties according to facility policies and procedures.
• Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates appropriate action immediately
