Select Medical Rehabilitation - Pensacola is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for per diem shifts in Pensacola, FL. Compensation is $21.50 per hour, with a $1,250 sign-on bonus.

The role covers day and night PRN shifts with orientation and opportunities for advancement. The unit focuses on acute rehabilitation, caring for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues.

Qualifications

• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Active CNA license in the state is required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographics.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, grooming).
• Deliver meals, document oral intake and supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely and assist mobility.
• Respond to call lights and support patient wellbeing.
• Transport patients to designated areas for treatment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
