JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting with patient care activities and non-nursing tasks under the supervision of the RN, working with other nursing staff. It involves providing services to various age groups, from adolescent to geriatric, with understanding of their developmental needs. The employee must support the Mission of Blessing Hospital, demonstrate core values, and contribute to the strategic goals and safety plans.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good verbal communication skills
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Must be at least 16 years old with an active CNA certification
• In good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry
• For PCA or SNA: completed patient care experience, a CNA program, or at least the sophomore year of a nursing program

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• CNA certification in good standing on the IDPH Healthcare Worker Registry (not applicable for PCA or SNA)

Pay Status: Non-Exempt Hourly
