Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation in Mathews is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their care team. Now offering location-based enhanced pay rates!

Opportunities Available: Part Time; Day, Night, and Evening shifts. Some weekend hours required.

Overview

Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN, and is ultimately responsible to the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing. Performs tasks essential to the direct care of residents according to facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Respect resident choices within safety and dignity considerations, following facility policies on privacy and dignity.
2. Assist with hygiene, appearance, safety, and nutritional needs of residents. Document care accurately in EMR, including ADL care, hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
3. Follow universal precautions, infection control, sanitation, and safety standards in all activities.

Requirements

1. Diploma from an accredited Nursing Assistant/Aid program required for new grads within 120 days of completion.
2. CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; First Aid (FA) certification also required within 30 days.
3. Valid C.NA license in VA or a compact state, or eligibility to obtain one. Verification required for new graduates without a license within 120 days of graduation.
