7p-7a; 3 nights, EOW

The CNA Is Responsible For

• Providing physical care of patients per the plan of care, including bathing, linen changes, feeding, assisting with ambulation and transfers, range-of-motion exercises, dressing reinforcement, infection control, and other duties as assigned.
• Performing light housekeeping in the patient area, such as laundry, trash removal, meal prep, cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Supporting other hospice team members in instructing primary caregivers and families about physical care, disease process, and emotional support.

The Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate.
• Preferred: Six months of CNA experience in hospital or long-term care; a letter of recommendation may suffice for no prior experience.
• Current BLS CPR Certification required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
