Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Nurse Aide to support ICU Neurology in a full-time capacity. The role includes providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performing procedures as directed, while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, state Nurse Aide registration, and Basic Cardiac Life Support. Strong communication and adaptability to shift work are essential.

Night Shift 12 hours, every other weekend

Pay Range

$19.80 - $29.70

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, And/or REGISTRATION

• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Essential Functions

• Participates in the implementation of the nursing process by giving direct care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Performs special procedures correctly under the direction of Registered Nurse (RN).
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, co-workers, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely communication of patient information.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive and professional manner.
• Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance, professional growth and development.
• Provides age/developmental appropriate patient care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served.
