Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Medical Assistant (MA) Job in Livingston, NJ

THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE / THIS IS AN ONGOING PART TIME ROLE

The Certified Nurse Assistant will provide basic patient care under the direction of the Vohra Physician and SNF Wound Care Nurse. This involves performing duties such as assisting the Physician and Wound Nurse with all aspects of Wound Care, assisting with Wound Care Education, and readying patients for treatment.

Wound Care Knowledge is helpful but not essential.

Vohra Physicians will provide Wound Care training and certification.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) in good standing with the State.
2. Must relate positively and favorably to facility staff, patients/residents, and families while working cooperatively with others.
3. Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
4. Must maintain regular attendance on the job, including traveling daily to partner facilities.
5. Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

DUTIES:

1. Hands-on assistance for the Vohra Physician during bedside rounds as needed.
2. Troubleshoot for the Vohra Physician with SNF staff.
3. Facilitate efficiency during rounds by ensuring patients are available and ready for Vohra Physician to conduct consults.
4. Assist the SNF wound care nurse when necessary, including, but not limited to, incontinence care, preparing/positioning the patient for physician evaluation, assisting with dressing application, and full-body skin exams.
5. Take simple notes as dictated by the Vohra Physician during rounds, including, but not limited to, documenting wound measurements, wound locations, and the treatment plan.
6. Assist with telemedicine visits and use of camera for video conference.
7. Assist Vohra Physician with obtaining written consent for procedures when required by SNF.

Job Type: Contract.

Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
