MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Acute Care team on Med Surg 3 at Maine Medical Center Biddeford. This full-time position offers a day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with every third weekend. The unit provides care for adult medical-surgical patients across a broad range of services.

The CNA supports nursing care under RN supervision and performs direct and indirect duties. Education and licensure requirements apply, with a sign-on bonus potential based on

Unit Information

Med Surg 3 (MS3) is a fast-paced 56 bed Adult Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine. The healthcare team provides care to adult complex patient populations from a wide variety of medical-surgical services including, but not limited to, Pulmonary, Renal, Infectious Disease, GI, Cardiac, Hematology/Oncology, and Orthopedics.

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.
