Job summary
Srimatrix Health in Wrangell, AK is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week travel contract in a Long-Term Care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment.
The role requires an active Alaska CNA license, current BLS certification, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally 1 year of CNA experience. Shifts are 12 hours, and the assignment offers travel opportunities in beautiful Alaska.
Qualifications
- Active Alaska CNA license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year CNA experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and transfer non-ambulatory residents.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, and patient observations
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Assist with patient transfers and transportation throughout the facility
- Maintain resident rooms and nursing areas
- Collect specimens and report changes in patient condition
- Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a Long-Term Care setting. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment.
