Srimatrix Health in Wrangell, AK is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week travel contract in a Long-Term Care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment.

The role requires an active Alaska CNA license, current BLS certification, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally 1 year of CNA experience. Shifts are 12 hours, and the assignment offers travel opportunities in beautiful Alaska.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska CNA license required.

• Ability to lift and transfer non-ambulatory residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, and patient observations
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Assist with patient transfers and transportation throughout the facility
• Maintain resident rooms and nursing areas
• Collect specimens and report changes in patient condition
• Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
