Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.
$18.25 - $24.00

Position Highlights

Pay scale: $19.00-$24.50/hr
May be eligible for up to $1,500 sign on bonus and $1,500 relocation bonus

Shift options include 6am - 6:30pm, 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 5pm-9pm, 6pm-6:30am

A Brief Overview

Accountable for providing direct, personal care and services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, addressing their physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs daily to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function.

What You Will Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living
  • Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers, repositioning, toileting, serving and collecting food trays, assisting with feeding, answering call lights, maintaining a clean environment, transporting patients, assisting with ambulation, and orienting residents to the facility environment.
  • Measure and document vital signs and weight accurately.
  • Assist with medical care activities per policy, including restorative exercises and specimen collection, and document care provided. Report any changes to nursing staff immediately.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Provide emotional, educational, and spiritual support to families.
  • Respect resident rights, confidentiality, and privacy. Report any abuse or property misappropriation.
  • Follow policies related to fire, disaster, infection control, and chemical safety, ensuring a safe environment for all.

Essential Qualifications

Ability to work the specified hours, with visual acuity and effective communication skills. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities, provided they do not cause undue hardship.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license in the state of practice within 120 days

Preferred:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Less than 1 year related experience or training
