Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant I for the ICU at Maine Medical Center Biddeford. This is a full-time night shift position (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) within the Nursing/Clinical Support team.

The CNA I will provide basic level care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Required: high school diploma or GED (preferred), active CNA license in the state, and current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current CNA license in the applicable state; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Less than six months of CNA experience.

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) I provides basic level CNA care assisting in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Less than six months of CNA experience

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
