Care Options for Kids in Miami seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one in-home care for pediatric and adult clients within the Miami area. Must be in or near the city of Miami, zip 33179, with evenings and weekend availability.

The role offers flexible shifts including Monday–Friday 5pm–9pm and Saturday/Sunday 9am–5pm, plus benefits such as PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k), weekly pay, and ongoing training to support caregivers in delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in home care preferred.
• Current Florida CNA license OR 40-75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Current BLS CPR Certification (in-person).
• TB Skin Test or TB Blood Test.
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course.
• 1 hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video.
• Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication CEU (minimum 2 hours).
• HIV/AIDS CEU.

Responsabilités

• Assist patient with personal care tasks per RN assignment (hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, transfers).
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and basic household tasks as required.
• Measure intake/output and monitor vitals as directed.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe changes and report to RN.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

• Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN) which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient orclient with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, andphysical transfer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may includelight cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping andliving areas, washing the patient's or client's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
• Measuring intake and output of fluids, andmeasure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client,reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:A minimum of 1 yearof experience in home care is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, valid Florida CNA license OR 40-75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate
• Current BLS CPRCertification (obtained in-person, not online)
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
• Assistance with Self-Administration of MedicationCEU (minimum of 2 hours)
• HIV/AIDsCEU
