Care Options for Kids is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one in-home care for pediatric and adult clients. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and deliver compassionate, individualized support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care as directed by the RN and care plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Monitor and record intake/output, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
• Keep accurate records of health care activities and report changes to RN.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) orHome Health Aides (HHAs)

• Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN) which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient orclient with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, andphysical transfer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may includelight cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping andliving areas, washing the patient's or client's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
• Measuring intake and output of fluids, andmeasure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client,reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:A minimum of 1 yearof experience in home care is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Valid Driver's license
