Care Options for Kids seeks CNAs or HHAs to provide one-on-one in-home care in Douglassville, PA. Eligible candidates hold a PA CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate and a valid driver’s license. PPE is provided, and the employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of home care experience preferred.
• Current PA CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate required.
• TB test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) required and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with personal care per RN assignment (hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, transferring).
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with light housekeeping.
• Measure intake/output and monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe patient changes and report to RN promptly.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) orHome Health Aides (HHAs)

• Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN) which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient orclient with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, andphysical transfer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may includelight cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping andliving areas, washing the patient's or client's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
• Measuring intake and output of fluids, andmeasure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client,reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements forCertified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:A minimum of 1 yearof experience in home care is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Valid Driver's license
