Care Options for Kids is seeking CNAs or HHAs for one-on-one in-home care in Allentown, PA, serving pediatric and adult clients with integrity and compassion.

We value caregivers who bring experience in home care, hold a PA CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate, have an active TB test, and a valid driver's license. High school diploma or GED is preferred; dedicated, patient-focused professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of home care experience.
• Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate; TB test (PPD) or TB blood test; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform personal care activities as assigned by RN, including assistance with hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and transfer.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with light tasks to support safety.
• Measure intake and output, and monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Keep clear records of personal health care activities.
• Observe changes and report to the RN.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

• Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN) which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient orclient with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, andphysical transfer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may includelight cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping andliving areas, washing the patient's or client's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
• Measuring intake and output of fluids, andmeasure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client,reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs)

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 yearof experience in home care is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Valid Driver's license
