Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a part-time or per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits in Rockingham and Alamance counties, NC. The role involves delivering 1:1 patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients at home.

The Home Health Aide/CNA must have at least one year of experience, be listed on the NC Nurse Aide Registry, and pass BAYADA competency evaluations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of work experience.
• Must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Have a criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping.
• Bathing and grooming.
• Toileting and nail care.
• Range of motion / exercises.
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Oral feeding.
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
• Home management tasks: laundry, meals.
• Assisting with ambulation.
• Medication assistance.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a part-time or per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients located throughout Rockingham and Alamance counties.

As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
