Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Aide (CNA) for per-diem home health visits across Davidson and Williamson counties. You will join a multidisciplinary team providing home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to help clients stay at home.

The CNA will complete about 10 visits per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with a 1:1 patient ratio. Access to reliable transportation is required, and BAYADA offers benefits and weekly pay to support staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of work experience.
• Must be listed on the TN Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements.
• Team-oriented and values-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping.
• Bathing and grooming.
• Toileting and nail care.
• Range of motion exercises.
• Transfers using lifting devices.
• Oral feeding and medication assistance.
• Vital signs checks.
• Home management tasks (laundry, meal prep, bed making).
• Ambulation support.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Aide, CNA for a per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients located throughout Davidson County and Williamson County. As a CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

This CNA will be performing about 10 visits per week, M-F, during the hours of 8:30am-5pm.

Must have access to reliable transportation.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the TN Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements
