Job summary

A Place at Home Kirkland is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/HCA) to join our in-home care team in Kirkland, WA. You will provide hands-on care to clients, promote health and safety, and support independence in their own homes.

The ideal candidate holds current WA CNA or HCA certification, has 1+ year in long-term care or home health, can lift and transfer clients, communicates well, and works both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) in Washington state.
• 1+ year of experience in long-term care or home health care.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming) as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
