A Place At Home – Kirkland is actively hiring live-in caregivers with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) credentials who want meaningful, stable work supporting seniors in their homes in Washington state.

This full-time, on-site live-in position in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties offers private living quarters in the client's home, a consolidated schedule with multiple full days off each week, and competitive pay of $20.00–$24.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• CNA or HCA certification in WA state.
• Pass background check, health screenings and work authorization verification as required.
• Valid WA driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to the client.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders as directed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the care team.
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe home environment.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands as needed.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site live-in caregiver position in King, Pierce and Snohomish County. As a live-in CNA or HCA, you will reside in the client's home with your own private living quarters, providing one‑on‑one care on a consolidated schedule that gives you multiple full days off every week.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome passionate live-in caregivers who are:

• CNA or HCA certified in the state of Washington
• Compassionate and dependable
• Experienced in home care, assisted living, or a related setting (1 year preferred)
• Able to pass a background check, work authorization verification, and any required health screenings
• Capable of assisting with ADLs, including safe transfers and mobility support
• CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)
• Holders of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Committed to client dignity, privacy, cultural sensitivity, and professional boundaries

What You’ll Do

As a live-in caregiver with CNA or HCA, you will support your client with:

• Companionship & conversation
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting & mobility support
• Meal prep & medication reminders
• Monitoring vital signs & reporting changes in condition to the care team
• Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, maintaining a safe home environment)
• Transportation to appointments & errands
• Creating a safe, comfortable home environment
• Performing specialized care engagement programs we designed
• Accurate documentation & collaboration with the care team and family
