Senior Helpers - Southern Maryland is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/GNA) or Home Health Aid for home care services in Southern Maryland. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and their families.Senior Helpers Southern Maryland offers services in Accokeek, Brandywine, Chellenham, Clinton, District Heights, Ft. Washington, La Plata, Oxon Hill, Suitland, Temple Hills, Waldorf, White Plaines.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (GNA/CNA/HHA) Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing personalized companion and personal care to ensure the safety, independence, and well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in meaningful conversations with clients and building strong relationships
• Participating in clients' favorite activities and hobbies, such as walks, movies, and games
• Providing reliable transportation for errands, appointments, and shopping
• Performing light household tasks, including cleaning and laundry
• Assisting with medication reminders
• Preparing nutritious meals for clients
• Reporting completed activities and providing updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Assisting clients with walking, steps, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Following care plans created by Registered Nurses
• Performing non-CNA functions as needed
