Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join Vibra Healthcare. This full-time PM shift role offers 8-hour shifts and a $2,500 bonus opportunity, with a mission to deliver high-quality rehab care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will support licensed nursing staff in ADLs, document care, and ensure a safe, clean setting while applying infection control, nutrition, and safety principles to promote patient independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or equivalent experience considered.
• Current, valid CNA certification required for employment.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists licensed nursing personnel in patient care by completing ADLs and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Utilizes infection control practices and basic nutrition and fluid intake skills.
• Recognizes emergencies and responds appropriately.

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $17.80 to $21.71. Night Shift Differentials! Weekday: Additional $1.25/hr Weekend: $2.50/hr
