Vibra Healthcare, LLC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. This full-time role offers an 8-hour night shift and a $2,500 bonus opportunity, with responsibilities including ADLs, documentation, and creating a safe, compassionate patient environment.

You will support licensed nursing staff, perform basic nursing care, monitor patient needs, and adhere to infection control standards while delivering quality bedside care in a fast-paced rehab setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant experience will be considered.
• Current, valid Nursing Assistant certification applicable in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel with activities of daily living and hygiene.

• Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly.

Hospital Details

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $17.80 to $21.71. Night Shift Differentials! Weekday: Additional $1.25/hr Weekend: $2.50/hr
