Job summary

Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah, seeks a Certified Medication Aide to join our night shift team (6:00 pm–6:00 am). You will maintain medication carts, document administrations in the eMAR, and administer medications per physician orders and resident care plans.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification, CPR, and a high school diploma, with preferred long-term care or geriatric experience. We offer competitive pay, 401(k), comprehensive insurance, generous PTO, and tuition reimbursement

What you'll do:

• Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed
• Accurately document all administrations in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans
• Observe residents and promptly report changes, concerns, or needs to licensed nursing staff or appropriate department leaders
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and team operations

What we're looking for:

• Perform basic math, including calculations with standard and weight measurements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. and assist with resident handling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in environments with exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
