Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts to support patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care. The role operates under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and emphasizes maintaining a safe, clean environment in a state-of-the-art facility in Lafayette, LA.

Qualified candidates have a CNA program completion, current BLS certification, and a GED or high school diploma; six months to one year

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
